Noddy jigsaw pre 1952

Post by dilys »

I have a noddy jigsaw which I was given as a present in 1952. (Just shows how old I am!) The title could be No Smoking as these words are shown in the puzzle. The picture is by Beek. The jigsaw measures 14 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. It is in perfect condition. Also in original box, which is slightly damaged.

Does anyone know anything about these puzzles. Are they rare? Valuable?

There are lots of Noddy Jigsaws shown here is it one of these?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

It won't be in the Cave as I haven't put any of the bigger ones on yet as they don't fit on my scanner. I have a few, so one day I may get round to it.

Dilys has emailed me to say it is this one. Unfortunately I can't answer her queries about its value.
