I haven't come across the white one before - is it an official badge?

I am afraid not but it does look rather more recent than the official blue one.

Timmy looks like Connal, so I'd guess it's something to do with the 1990s TV series (if it's official). The 1990s magazine Mystery and Suspense sometimes included free gifts, but whether they ever gave away a Famous Five badge I don't know.

The logo of the keyring matches one on the cover of the Mystery and Suspense magazine - issue four, five, seven, and nine.

Example (issue four) - http://www.enidblytonsociety.co.uk/blyt ... perid=4346" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yes, it is certainly official merchandise, when I get a moment I will try to remember where it is from and search out my own copy of it - I think it might be the Famous Five Musical.

They're nice badges. I had one of the original Famous Five Club badges, being a member, but sadly have lost it over the years!

It looks like the bidding is going up, so I wouldn't actually pay a high price for three badges, myself. :)

Nor £3 for the P&P which I don't think it would cost that much personally.

I believe P&P charges include not just the stamp, but the jiffy bag/packaging and the costs involved in the trip to the PO.

Yes, both the badge and keyring were from the Famous Five Musical. They were only sold in theatres where the musical was playing along with wallets and leather bookmarks in a choice of two colours. I have shown what the other side of the keyring looked like below.

I guess I will have to put a badge from the other theatre play - The Secret Seven Save the World - at some stage as that was also only available in the theatre it was shown in and that one didn't go on tour.

Postage does indeed cost £3 - if the item in question is more than 2.5cm in depth (which it probably would be when packed up properly), it is classed as a 'small parcel' and the minimum price for a small parcel, first class, is £3.

Thanks for the information and images, Tony. It's interesting to see the badges and other items.
