I have just found a lovely 1st of Children of Kidillin, by Mary Pollock, asumed 1st 1940, by price of 1'6 to cover, and mention of the other Pollock book published at same time. My question is, did these books come in a Acetate dustjacket? The one I have has, its exactly right...

Was about to list this book on Ebay when i noticed the cover has a misspell, Noddy and the Magig instead of magic goldfish. thanks for finding that tony, I've been looking on abe for ages and not found one, so guessing that one was listed in the past couple of days, will have to think about it though as its a reprint rather than a 1st. Will do my list shortly too :-)

Hi Tony, thanks for this information, I had just listed a couple of ebay as 1st's I have now updated the lsitings, to make sure buyers know these are the 1st thin spine editions (2nd printings)

Killimooin name change?

Was just reading the front flap of a 1st edition of The Secret Mountain and noticed Enid was going to name the 4th book in the series, The Secret Forest, Any idea why the name was changed? Am intrigued :-)
