Re: The Forums - Images and Topics
I'm confused too. If the images Pete posted aren't taking up valuable space, why was he asked to delete them? This issue has been rumbling on now for quite a while. Why can't someone say what the real reason is that Pete's post had to be deleted. There's far too much non-Blyton content posted on thi...

Re: The Forums - Images and Topics
Tony alerted me to this thread as the forums aren't designed for the posting of whole books, especially picture-strip books which have images all the way through. It's possible that space may be an issue If space is an issue, why not remove images that have nothing to do with Enid Blyton, such as m...

Where's the strip gone, Pete? I was going to read that again.

Re: The Troublesome Three 1955
You should have listened to Nigel, Pete. He warned you about Welsh whisky. It does explain your dodgy hair though.

Re: The Troublesome Three 1955
I didn't realise you was in the Troublesome Three, Pete. Your hair doesn't look right. Some great adventures though.

Re: What Enid Blyton book have you recently bought?
I know when it was first published, Pete. I just wondered if your copy was a first edition or a reprint.

Re: Enid Blyton AI Art Style Inspiration
I think the backgrounds of those four AI illustrations are quite good but I'm not too keen of the children's faces.
I spotted the errors, Pete. Aye, aye.

Re: Journal 83
I thought I'd read a few more comments about Journal 83 but all I can see is the thread being hijacked by a discussion about place names.

What year was it first printed, Pete? I like the photo on the back cover, too.

I enjoyed that story, Pete. Thanks for posting it. I was reminded of the Secret Seven story where something was seen or overheard from up a tree. Was it Secret Seven Adventure?

Re: Journal 83
Another delightful addition to the Journal stable starting with Anita's thoughtful and incisive look at the first Six Cousins book. I've never read it but, as always, Anita draws you into the story as she explores the characteristics of the different sets of cousins as each set influences the other....

Re: Agatha Christie
They are still stacked on top of each other, Pete. It's not good enough. If you haven't got enough room, buy another bookcase. Show some initiative. Books deserve to be treated with respect. I shan't tell you again.

Re: Agatha Christie
Fancy stacking them on top of one another. That's no way to treat a book. Get it sorted, Pete, or I'll have you banned.
