Trust me Kirrin, I am absolutely sure. I went into the site you posted and the dvd set that came up is the one I bought and sent back. I could not believe they put those actors (the same as the videos) on the dvd cover when they were only in the first episode. I cant tell you how disappoined I was w...

Whatever you do, dont buy this dvd set. The first episode has the original cast, and the rest have this mottley crew who can only be described as disasterous and what they have done to Timmy the dog is outrageous. Even the tune sucks........man, its oh so 70's. Do yourself a favour, and buy the vide...

Re: whyteleaf school

Did you know another writer has taken over these stories and has re writtn them. :) I would just like to clear the slate here. I know the subject of prequels and sequels to Ms Blyton's work is a fiery point of discussion and I am not about to embark upon it HOWEVER ....... Anne Digby - the sequel w...

Isnt it funny how some people in the world (of course, Im talking of Australia here) have no idea of Enid Blyton. You probably think Im talking about the "young ones". Well they dont either but they have a reasonabe excuse as there are some truly fabulous writers of kids books today - not ...

Thank you Morescones for coming into this forum and having a say. "I daresay the blurb quoted above is misleading for suggesting that there are actually paedophiles in the story" As you are aware, I copied this straight from your site, so I hope you didnt think that I was misleading those ...

Yes I have seen this happen on ebay. And, I have also seen some (high feedback) sellers cop bad feedback for it. But most of the time it is clearly written that it is a copy/facsimile - often in red and sometimes in caps. I guess its a matter of choice really. If its a book in excellent condition an...

Okay, well u are probably right, - the paedophile thing goes a bit tooooo far. I cant say I see anything funny about this subject at all. And to defend this would seem very bad ....BUT I have to say, in the spirit of humour - tasteless as some may find it - that a 'send up' is just that, albeit deci...

Blyton parody

Do you believe it!!!! Someone has actually written a 'book' sending up Enid Blyton stories. Not for the feint of heart but definitely for those of us who can turn the other cheek. Here is what the author has to say...... "My parody is intended for the amusement of anyone who has ever read an En...

Hi ebc again I have mentioned to Tony that it would be great to have this subject treated in one of his upcoming journals. It seems he is being swamped with items (which is fabulous) and we just have to wait our turn. Tony mentiuoned some of the names she has used - which I must admit I have never h...
