Re: Beauty, Make-Up, Toiletries etc!

Do you still look studious? No, I don't look studious anymore! The glasses were switched out to contact lenses years ago, my hair hangs down to below my shoulders, and my skin is back to being clear and normal! Phew! :D I have no problem being chatted up by 'old and married' men. I think the...

Re: General Natter Room

Hi, I notice that all society members are now advertising it in their signature line. Could someone tell me what needs to be done (font color, size etc.), so I can add it to my signature line as well, or is it supposed to be done by the admins?
Thank you!

A couple of weeks ago when I was having a terrible day, I got out my copy of The Wishing Chair to calm myself.

Re: Beauty, Make-Up, Toiletries etc!

Reading about people's experiences on this topic has honestly been very liberating, and the whole thread has been a very interesting read. It goes back to school-days for me, I was very very thin, very shy, and didn't have all the latest fashions, and was teased constantly about my looks, called 'ug...

I hope you have been well and enjoyed your trip to Britain. I have missed exchanging ideas and posts with you. I don't know how frequent I will be in checking the forums going forward, but I hope it will be more frequent that I have been so far.

Re: Missed Birthdays!

Hello! I think I am checking/logging in to the forums after about a year or maybe more. I am glad that someone started this topic. I too would like to apologize for missing birthdays, anniversaries, and all other important milestones and events! But congratulations and best wishes to all those to wh...

Re: At what age is it appropriate to start dating?

I'd have no problem at all in dating a 26 year old. Not sure I'd fancy an 86 year old, though. Curiously I read on the news some weeks back that a seventy something year old man had become engaged to a (I think) 100 year old woman! I thought it was pretty sweet. :D Julie, I agree with Anita about y...

Re: Hotmail to Outlook!

Hi Chrissie, Actually as I said, I have never had these problems, so I am rather puzzled. Would you mind sending me your email address by PM? We could then try a couple of test emails to see what is going on. I will send you an email with an attachment and with text. You could then forward the same ...

Re: At what age is it appropriate to start dating?

Ok, another thread getting bumped up... :D Out of curiosity, what do people feel about dating people much older or much younger than themselves? I know several couples where the women are much older than the men they married (about 5 or more years older). It's usually not a big deal when the man is ...

Re: New BBC Class Survey

Sorry I am only just catching up on a lot of recently dormant threads... I am not in Britain of course, but I tried it anyway. I tried it two different ways: one, ignored the sterling signs and made them dollars instead, and the second time I used used dollar to sterling exchange rates. Both times I...
