This huge section contains all the numerous series of short story books that were published, a total of 1008 books. Some of these books were used in more than one series and appeared in a completely different format. So that it is possible to see a complete series, these books are included in each series that they have appeared in. Some series also include books that might well have been listed in another section, had they not been an integral part of that particular series. Also included in this section is a small number of non-series short story books. Books with mixed content (stories, poems and non-fiction) are only included if they are part of a series, though a few short story books contain poems as 'space fillers'.
