I've never found a secret passage in my life, but I had the oppurtunity to find a secret drawer in an old chest. It was so trilling trying to open it and wondering what might be in it. In the end, there was nothing but air inside.

It was cool to find out how to open it anyway. I'd love to buy that chest, but it's been in the family of the woman owning it for generations, so no luck there.
Other "adventures" with police or customs people? Well, I have relations living in Israel, and I used to visit them several times. It was always a nightmare going through all the checks and controls at the German airports. In Israel on the way back, it was soo easy. We just said that we'd been visiting relatives and they waved us through.
There was one very nasty scence, however. When driving through the Eastern part of Jerusalem in an Israeli-registered hire car we encountered some boys who thought it a nice passtime to throw stones at cars passing by. It was close, but we made it thank God.
Cheers
