The Mysterious Boy - Julie Robinson
I can now confirm to you all that my book, (title above) will be published on the 31st October, 2017.
I must say I am getting a little scared now! The information I have received regarding promotions etc, for a new author is a little scary to say the least, but certainly an eye-opener.
The book cover is illustrated by Simon Rowe, who happily took up the challenge when I approached him, and the publisher gave it the thumbs up too, as marketable. So well done to Simon. If I sell huge amounts of copies, I'm sure it's due to Simon's fantastic illustration.
I didn't realize that every time my book is lent out from any library, I get royalties! These things one just doesn't think about.
According to marketing, my book will be in WH Smiths, Waterstones, Amazon UK and USA, kindle, and others.
After 6 months, it will be available in the book shops in the USA and not just Amazon USA.
A whole new experience for me now awaits.
And my grateful thanks to Tony for allowing me to advertise my own book, on this site.

Wow Julie, how exciting. Will you start practising signing your maiden name again now?

My two grandsons have asked for copies, preferably signed by Julie, when it is published.

I will pop in on here when I get a copy, Sixret. I only have a proof copy at the moment, which has proof stamped over it.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
