I've always been curious about this, and if you feel it's an unnecessary thread, feel free to delete it.
But that's an INSANE number. What was going on? Do any of you remember this? What was it like? Why did it happen? So curious.

I know that in the past there used to be 'parties' on the website where everyone came on at the same time - probably for a celebrity reason as Sixret says. I can't remember.
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

16th November 2009 was the date the Enid drama was first broadcast, starring Helena Bonham Carter as Enid Blyton. Some viewers must have searched the internet for more information after watching the programme and ended up on this website!

thanks Anita! I'd forgotten that - but it makes sense. I'm sure there were many people on here having a rant about it, too!

That's really interesting, and I'm sorry I missed that.
But I was nine. N I N E. Na-in. 9. Neun. Nuevo. Nau.
Ok I'll stop
But honestly, we should have those 'parties' again
