Would like to buy (or swap) The Mystery of Pantomime Cat and The Mystery of Strange Messages. Must be old hardback. With or without dustwrapper.

Sixret, I've got an old hardcover of Pantomime Cat that I'd be happy to part with either as a sale or as a swap. It's a first edition, fair condition (a little scruffy, but the binding is still strong), no dust jacket.

Could you perhaps PM me and let me know which book(s) you'd be willing to swap for it? Swapping might be better than selling, since I'm not sure how we'd manage with the different currencies, unless you're able to send a cheque in British pounds. :)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Hi Courtenay,

Yes, I do have that title available. Here's the detail:

The Children At Green Meadows.

1) Publisher: Lutterworth Press
2) Green cloth hardback. No dustwrapper.
3) First edition published on 1954.
4) The first three illustrations were nicely coloured.
5) The pages are all there and intact. The pages do not turn brown(i.e foxing) but expect spots of brown here and there on pages.
6) A bit scruffy.
7) At the back of the cover there was a writing of the letters E,L,2 in very light blue pen. You can't see them in the photo because it was so light. No other scribbling.
8 ) Definitely no unpleasant odour. In fact, the pages smell like a soap! An "uplifting" smell, I would say!
9) The front board has a crack on the inside but definitely still attach.
10) The binding is strong and tight except the crack.

Overall, in a decent condition.
