We did have Society badges, first a white one and then a red one.

The badges were in the shape of the Society logo, the coloured backgrounds are just there to make it easier to see them.

I sold them for 50p, but the last one I saw for sale went for £30 on ebay!
hi , i`d love a red badge and would be great to have some for members . could we have a badge / hope so ,sue

Lack of interest probably. Many such things have gone the way of the dodo. Largely thanks to the internet making them obsolete I would imagine.

I think at the very least we should all have a badge with our name on it when we meet up as I'm terrible at remembering names of people I've even just met.
I hate not being able to recall their name and look like a fool for not remembering it - even if I am!

A badge with your own name shouldn't be too hard to purchase - or even a post it note with your name in Biro would serve the same function...

What an intelligent young woman. I wonder what happened to her? Sue, Madhulika only lasted 10 days, and hasn't looked in since June 2009, so don't hold your breath for the postal order. :|
