Yes, I've done that too, I just called it 'surplus'. I wanted to keep some of my message as they are a nice bit of correspondence between me and other forumites. I did try and move them into a folder on my computer, but couldn't work how to do that.

Does anyone know of an easy way to keep messages? I've run out of folders, and need to delete some messages. Some are ones I'd like to keep, and the only way I'm managing to do that is to copy them and then past them into word documents to store on my computer.

Why don't you just delete them all and make a fresh start? Is it time to move on and make new friends? Is retaining the old messages holding you back?

Or, if they are fairly short messages, you can write them either on little, separate chits of paper, or make a file in which you can write them all.

Would that make your messages chit-chat?
