Don't forget to bring your consent form with you - for those that don't know, Ming is about to become a radio star as the BBC are sending down a reporter to interview her on Saturday.
Don't you believe it Tony! Within minutes of landing on British soil, Ming was posting!

I do believe that old Viv has got some competition on the old wireless!

Very sorry you can't make it, Mollybob. :(

I know what it's like - I had to miss my first opportunity last year!

Ming: where are you staying in the UK?

So now you can probably understand why I suggested that you brought something warm to wear!

I hope that you have your first Journal in your hand now.

Welcome to the UK, Ming!

I am off to London early tomorrow morning, so I shall sign off for now. I am looking forward to (and just a little nervous about) meeting you all on Saturday. Should be a great day. :)

Thanks!

I tried to reply to the messages two times last night, but the Internet disconnected both the times, so I didn't get online properly until just now.

Viking Star: I'm at my uncle's at the moment (not great uncle, but will go to his place soon, in Harrow Weald) in Northwood.

Tony: I know why you suggested that! It is pretty cold, but I'm okay. I went out for a walk early this morning, but didn't need any coats or jumpers, I was okay in a plain full-sleeved t-shirt! Actually, I didn't get a coat in the first place because my suitcase was stuck!! My Journal is at my great uncle's, and so is the ticket. My great uncle said they've safely arrived. I'll get them when I'm there!

See you all tomorrow!

Ming you are not too far from Twyford then. 8)

As to the picnic I will bring some cold roast chicken portions (from Tesco) and some Mr. Kipling cakes if thats ok with everyone. I'm getting excited (and nervous) now. It's going to be a very interesting day. What time is everyone setting out? I'll be hitting the road (Train actually) about eight o clock in the morning.

It hardly seems like Ming was away!

Not sure what we are bringing to the picnic yet.

We will be leaving home (Crayford, Kent) about 8 ourselves for a nice pleasant drive around the M25 and down the M4.

See you all there

I think we are fine for cakes & puddings. A bag of salad or flans would be welcome, and someone MUST bring some tinned pineapple (self-opening!)
