Thankyou for putting the photos up Keith and also to all the people who sent their photos to Keith who helped make it possible!
As someone who  was unable to make it to the day I really appreciate being able to see what it was like!
I'm aiming to be there to see it all for myself next year! :D

I woke up this morning and logged on to find all these nice messages! Glad you approve, and very pleased nobody has demanded I take any pictures down (yet).

I planned the page so that it stands alone as an archive, so that we can easily add future Days alongside it. It's just a shame we don't have photos and reviews from previous Days, but no matter, from now on the event will be recorded and hopefully these archives will entice people to come along next time.

I hope Prabhu has recovered from loss of sleep over sending the pictures last night. The poor guy said he was still trying to figure out how to send me the pictures at 4am!! But we got there in the end. What with Prabhu and Nigel pulling their hair out over this, I guess I've lived up to my reputation as a taskmaster. :-( But on the other hand, I like to think you've both learnt something new that you can make use of in the future!

what sleep..>?

Hey Keith old boy, I did get to sleep for about two hours.. and since its 4.a.m. this morning as well.. (this time on work grounds), looks like a lack of sleep is something Im going to have to get used to when working for you. Sadly I was hoping that Ill be gently handled.. perhaps Tony would throw me a titbit here and there to do, some minor literary errand ..an occasional picture taken ... I pictured myself having happy words with my friends like Anita and Zoe and Nigel and Viv and learning at the feet of Lynn .. the fine art of collecting...

Instead, along came a spider and a male tarantula at that. I guess when Im not professionally occupied, every sleeping hour is going to be in his web,....Webmaster!

I tell you now, I just cant wait...Im loving it!.

Prabhu, the thing about Keith is: (how much time have you got :?: ) he makes it sound as though it's a little favour he's after, you think, "All right, I can do that."

Before you know it, it's 4am, you've been at the computer for 8 hours and still the wretched thing won't work!

Eventually, it works, and Keith says, "You've learnt something now, I hope you appreciate it!"

Tee hee! Glad to see my whip is in good working order and my powers of persuasion haven't worn off after 14 years working in an office service department...

It's the team that matters. Where would The Beatles be without Ringo? If John got Yoko to play drums the history of music would be completely different.

Update for Enid Blyton Day

As one of those unable to attend the EB day, many thanks to those who contributed (and posed for) the pictures. It is nice to see forum members' faces.

As I haven't seen a picture of Marcus Harris since he was in the Famous Five TV series, it was slightly alarming to suddenly see him that much older. Doesn't time fly!
