Enid Blyton Day 2012

Post by Tony Summerfield »

I had a mad moment this morning and I have just booked Loddon Hall for next year's Enid Blyton Day on Saturday May 12th. I hope it will be well supported but obviously at this stage we are not yet selling tickets and no further details are available.

Nice to hear that Tony. :)
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

Hooray fOr mad moments!!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

My earlier reply was rather short as I was on the bus at the time and was struggling to hit the right buttons on my phone.

If there is indeed a day, I absolutely intend to come this year, whether I have to walk the 500 miles or not (there's a Proclaimer's song there somewhere).

Don't worry. We'll get you down somehow, even if I have to drive up and fetch you! Or kidnap you from work!

You're dead set on this kidnapping thing aren't you? Though if it meant avoiding 6+ hours on the train I'm all for it. Anything to actually get to an Enid Blyton day.

Goodo! :D

But I would walk 500 miles,
Yes I would walk to Loddon Hall
Just to be the one who walked 500 miles
To get to see you all
