And he had dirty finger nails too so no wonder you didn't spot him!
This is a Green Knight Book which means that it is a book by one of the most popular authors of all.

This theory has much to commend it. As I arrived at the Loddon Hall, I glimpsed Robert's namebadge, turned to introduce myself but he had disappeared! I fear that the Old Balloon Woman explanation was a ruse and that some sort of magic was indeed put to use.

Maybe next year we should have a Forum Stand, we could all meet up there and promote the Society's internet features! We could even have an EnidBlyton.net stand (if Inspector Jenks, Fatty and Bets can be persuaded to come) and even a Yahoo Blyton Group stand (that shouldn't take up much room!)

Great idea, Nigel!

Can we persuade the "Nonnimus" writer (from EB.net) to reveal himself I wonder?

Just re-read that and realised it might be open to misinterpretation

Is that before or after he's revealed himself?

Sounds intrigueing, maybe I should visit enidblyton.net a bit more often.

I'm sorry if I kept disappearing!

I didn't know you had spotted me Petermax, or I certainly wouldnt have gone off without saying hello! :D

If we're fortunate enough to have a Day next year, we'll grab Rob, tie him up and shout to everybody, "Here he is!"

A note for those who enjoy spotting Red Kites in the vicinity of Twyford...

Countryfile, 7pm BBC1 tonight has a piece to mark the 20th anniversary of the reintrodution of these wonderful birds into Britain.

UH-OH.

I missed the Enid Blyton Society day 2009? :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
Please, please say NOOOOOOOOOO!

Plus, Glad to be back again!
I just got an english project we have to do about a dead author (Its funny, why do they have to be dead)
Guess who I'm doing! :D
And I got all the info from the EB pages here, got loads of pages for my project so far that I've done, even though it's supposed to be a one-page thing! I've also included a personal page in which I've put how Enid's writing has inspired many, and how there is an Enid Blyton Society now!

Pity you missed the Day, Anna.

Good to hear about your project! While it's great that you have so much information do make sure you don't exceed the limits - you might be negatively marked for that!

Anna,
After procrastinating for sometime, I have since taken a look at this site, including The Cave of Books. Wow, the information is fantastic and far up-to-date than the late Barbara Stoney's revised edition of her biography of Enid Blyton. So kudos to Tony, Anita, Moonraker and others that have selflessly maintained this site to its very high standards.
