Who?? If you mean that Rule woman, she'd better apologise in advance for her article... Seriously, I gave it a re-read earlier after seeing that Tony had indeed put it in, and realised it could sound a bit smug and smart-alec, which is not really what I wanted. (But if anyone finds it annoying, don't worry. I'm sure I'm a lot worse in real life. )
Other than that, it looks like it's going to be another brilliant issue, with some Christmassy touches too, of course — many thanks to Tony and I'm looking forward to digging into it when it comes!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I'm sure its not smug and smart-alec - but don't worry, all my Journal articles are like that, lol!
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'
Oh good — so I'll be beating you at your own game, then. Regardless, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your thoughts on Strange Ruby. And all the other articles as well!

I put it up on Friday, Rob, so you must have missed that day! The Journal has been at the printers for two weeks now and I still don't know when I am getting it back. I noticed in the rough proof I was sent that both you and Courtenay are effected by errors and without delaying the Journal further there was nothing I could do about them, but I have seen them so there is no need to point them out, not in the text, one is a number and the other an illustration! I have already received emails asking why the sender hasn't received their Journal yet, which is the main reason for my delay in putting it onto the website, but I actually finished it four weeks ago, apart from the editorial which I wrote on the day that I posted it to the printers.

Don't tell me you've replaced my picture of Kiki with a picture of an emu??

I am grateful to Daisy (on another forum) for assisting me in understanding the spellings of this word. Apparently effect is a noun, and affect is the verb. I'm not trying to correct you, Tony (in fact you may be correct, I still have difficulty with this word!), but couldn't help commenting! If indeed you are correct, I would appreciate more guidance!
I have to say there are already three or four articles and stories that I am immediately drawn to and I look forward eagerly to receiving the Journal when it is ready.

Basically, Tony's post should have said "affected", but I couldn't bring myself to say so, unlike Nigel!
