Worth mentioning, Anita's article about the difference between two versions of Noddy. The changes in texts and illustrations. :)

It is indeed fascinating to read about a unique experience like that.

I have recently devoured Journal 51 and Journal 50 for good measure. Why is this you may ask? Well, it turns out that my EBS subscription expired back in November 2012. I only found this out when I emailed Tony Summerfield when I saw the Journal 51 thread and wondered where my copy had got to! As for Journal 50, well, that sort of passed me by completely! A quick Paypal payment to Tony re-subscribed me to the EBS and at the same time I purchased a back issue of Journal 50, so all is well. :D

As usual I enjoyed the content of the Journals immensely, I cannot really add to what everyone else has already said. However, The Society Outing To Beckenham by Angela Canning in Journal 51 caught my attention in particular. The reason behind this is that I have a great fascination with the early years of authors and musicians. Such relatively ordinary lives prior to the international recognition that would change them forever.
