Journal 43

I feel rather like a hungry diner having just sampled a menu in a posh resturant, but having to wait for the first course to arrive...

Reading the contents page of the next Journal really got my mouth watering, with some delicious sounding dishes, and some very intriguing titles.

Particularly interested to see we have another EB adult story waiting to be read, as well as several articles and short stories written by the great lady herself.

Thanks for all your hard work once again Tony.

I feel very privileged to be a part of this wonderful publication. 8)

It does look, as usual, like an action packed edition of The Journal. The wartime letters from Enid and Bobs have caught my eye and I look forward to all the usual contributor's latest installments. It will arrive just as the nights draw in and the heating goes on. A real early winter treat. :D

It's a winter treat I'm really looking forward to, John. :D

Looking forward to the journal! The article about an adult story written by Enid Blyton looks intriguing!

At last Journal 43 is on its way, the birds have left the nest. My apologies for a slight delay as they arrived a week ago, but I have been unable to walk for the last ten days and had no means of getting the Journals to the post office. The rest is up to Royal Mail!

Hurrah! Hope you are better now Tony and dont worry about a slight delay. I am certain that The Journal will, as usual, be well worth the wait. :D

Before you ask, "Why didn't that lazy Moonraker take them to the Post Office?" I did offer! :D

One of the perks of living near the Cave is that I got an early copy. One of the best that will keep you enthralled for hours! I'm still reeling from the comment on EnidBlyton.net that the poster had tried the Society site, but wan't interested in buying books.

You did indeed offer, but it was a bit more complicated than that as I had to pay nearly £500 postage before they would take them - and I didn't really think I could ask you to do that!!

I also read the comment on enidblyton.net - it would seem that she doesn't think all that much of this website. I will have to try harder to reach the standards of the website that she has become addicted to!

Naturally, I have replied, taking the lady to task and pointing out to her the error of her ways!

I'll look forward to receiving my journal. I just hope it gets through as apparenly today (17/11) most of Cornwall is flooded and been declared a disaster zone!!! Fortunately, our village is high up and isn't prone to such devastation.
