Journal 41
Just noticed that Journal 41, which should be with us in a few weeks, has been added to the Journal Catalogue. The 'Treasure Hunters' cover is lovely and I like the sound of 'It Began with Saucy Jane' by Fred Clampitt - an intriguing title. It's also great to see Robert Houghton back again!

It looks great, Anita. I'm really looking forward to receiving my copy.

Yes, I too love the cover of the Treasure Hunters, and like you Anita, I think the title of 'It Began with Saucy Jane' is very intriguing. Another good read to look forward to.

It sounds like the start of an Ern pome that Fatty could finish (although not as depressing as most of his starts):Julie2owlsdene wrote:Yes, I too love the cover of the Treasure Hunters, and like you Anita, I think the title of 'It Began with Saucy Jane' is very intriguing. For me 'it all began with Amelia Jane'
I loved her, because she was such a pain!
Journal 41 looks good enough to eat,
As always, a tasty and mouth-watering treat!!

Journal 41 looks great and I cant wait to receive it. It'll be just the thing to cheer up a few of these freezing winter evenings.

Re: Journal 41
sounds exciting Anita, i have not yet looked at the journal cover because i did last time and i thought now i know what it looks like, i wish i had not looked at it so it would be a surprise (it still looked lovely of course)but now i fell tempted to go and look at it!Anita Bensoussane wrote:Just noticed that Journal 41, which should be with us in a few weeks, has been added to the Journal Catalogue. it sounds really nice, will be looking forward to be getting it!

Re: Journal 41
I too like to get my first look of the cover when I take it out of the envelope, Leila! It would also spoil my enjoyment of the Journal to read its contents before receiving it as well. This leads me to another gripe, don't you simply hate all of those "Coming up" spoilers on every television programme you watch now?Kiki's new mam wrote:i have not yet looked at the journal cover because i did last time and i thought now i know what it looks like, i wish i had not looked at it so it would be a surprise...

Re: Journal 41
I see what you mean about liking the Journal to be a surprise (hope I haven't spoilt things too much by starting this thread!), though sometimes it's nice to have just enough revealed in advance to whet one's appetite.
