It's not The Mystery of the Invisible Thief, is it, Pete? If so, they really HAVE given it away...

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Sadly yes, although it's described as: 'Enid Blyton Mystery of the thief stealth'

No prizes for guessing this easy one:

The first one of the first row could be Go Adventuring Again, with all the snow. The third one on the first row could be Go Off to Camp, with the spook trains. And the first one of the third row is Have a Wonderful Time, with Faynights Castle and Professor Terry-Kane's face (that's cheating on my part, since I know from the audiobook thread).

I'll go for Together Again for number 5 then, I thought the maid might be Mrs Stick to start with (and Edgar) but now I'm pretty sure its Jenny with Tinker, because the man (Prof Hayling) has keys which I assume are the keys to his famous tower!

I'm mystified by the others, I thought 12 looked like red-haired Alfredo but its obviously not. Is it Hike, maybe its Dick and Maggie stuck in the mud?

Can't work out 7 either - I thought it was Red Tower and his big house but I guess not!

Actually I'm going to say Go Down To The Sea for 12, I think that's the wreckers tower on the left and the Guvnor, and someone holding Clopper's head? :)

I am deducing that the word that is in the biggest font on 8,11, and 12 (It looks a bit like "TANHA" but the N in the middle is backwards and has a diacritical mark over it) [Yes, I know that Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet, not the one we use for English] is the Russian word for five? It also seems to be on the other covers as well.

I was just doing some sleuthing on that same word — it would be "TAINA" in our alphabet and I was also expecting it to be "Five", but it seems it means "mystery" or "secret". So I can only assume the Famous Five books in Russian are all titled "Mystery of the ........" Rather less original — I hope they don't get confused with the Find-Outers books, if those have been translated as well!
