With my CSE grade 3 in art I decided to throw my contribution to cover artistry in the ring.
It will however being brutally honest most definitely alienate the original Soper camp, the 1970's Maxey aficionados and even the modern generation of children who accept lots of unusual and angular depictions as art.....
I decided to compare my 1976 Enid Blyton signature written when I was about eight or nine with my 2015 attempt.
My original 1976 paperback - hard to believe this was once a pristine, brand new copy.
My attempt at Enid's Signature aged about eight in 1976..
My attempt in 2015...
I hope in many years time there is no confusion if my books are resold as to whether the signature is genuine..
EDIT: How stupid I am.Enid was not alive in 1976 and therefore could not have signed my Betty Maxey edition..phew!

"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
