About 40 or so - that's just 'Sea of Adventure' !

Actually a quick count adds up to 48 hardbacks with 12 'Sea of Adventure' mostly with dust wrappers.

That's very impressive Francis, well done. Which book out of them all is in the best condition?

I have a pristine edition of the Mountain of Adventure'. A second impression issued in the same year as the first and the condition is so good I daren't touch it! It is interesting that this book sold so well that they reprinted it in the same year. By the time this book came out the demand (considering that most children and their families could not afford books in the 1940s or 1950s) was tremendous.

I'm building a 'corner' in Adventure books until they all come crashing down and I am buried underneath.

Poor Francis - we've already written his obituaries!!

Still many more books to add to your 'corner' Francis, before it topples! :D

I’m sure Pete’s excellent offerings made Francis smile. They certainly brought a smile to my face. :D

Have I misread this Francis or have you really got 40 copies of Sea of Adventure?!

Start building an igloo from them, this charity shop did with the copies of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' they were inundated with:

I have just emerged from the towering pile of Adventure books without harm but I suspect that Pete's brilliant satire might one day become true. The rumour that I have 40 copies of 'Sea of Adventure' is rather exaggerated as I only have 12 copies (so far). I had better go out a-looking once more.
