I suppose you mean "Kalli Schlaumeier" or "Pfiffig, der schlaue Schuster", the original English title is "Rubbalong tales", but it's no Noddy/Nicki/Purzelknirps book.

Wolfgang, somehow I mixed it up. Having read the Barbara Stoney EB biography shortly before, I was under the impression that it's a Noddy book in German.
So Noddy was called Nicki or Purzelknirps in German :).
I always liked Purzel aka Buster from the FFO & Dog books and thought it was a cute name for a little dog.

I recently bought 'Tales At Bedtime' and 'the Treasure Hunters' - both Collins editions, which I intended to resell. they only cost me £1.99 and 99p in an eBay auction.

However, I'm now keeping 'tales At Bedtime' as I realised its one of the Collins Junior Story Books I don't have! Its in very good condition with a wrapper, as is 'The Treasure Hunters'... :-)

I missed the auction for Tales At Bedtime, Rob. I'm after that book. :(

I was going to resell it...but its a lovely copy and only cost me 99p - so I'm going to keep it! ;-) I was very lucky because most of his books go for high prices but no one else bid!

Well done, Rob! :D

Don't worry, John. It's a common title and will be listed on Ebay from time to time. Good luck! :D

Thanks Sixret! I'm not sure how common it is in a dust jacket, which mine was. Sometimes I see it with the printed boards, which is a later edition. Hope you find one, John! :-)

"Blyton für adults" - You mean they have actually been translated into German, Wolfgang? Oh dear!

I forgot to say I also bought 'Feefo, Tuppeny and Jinks the other day - won for £4.75 with a very good dust jacket. Up until now I've only had the Collins version, which reversed the names, for some reason - and I don't have The Green Goblin Book -- but I'm pleased to have this version, as I'm very fond of the illustrations by Norman Meredith.

It is a very nice book that one, Rob, but now it is another added to my lost list! I went to look and see if I had asked him to sign it, as he is one of the few Blyton illustrators that I actually met - but it wasn't there!

His other two were, Rubbalong Tales and The Queer Adventure and they were both signed.
