I saw copies of Lost Christmas in the sale at our local Waterstone's, Katharine, and it didn't cost all that much in the first place.

Thanks Tony, I'm going into town in a little while (more blank video tapes needed) so I'll pop into Waterstone's and have a look.

I'm intrigued at the idea of keeping a reading list. I might try it myself though I can very much imagine me forgetting to update it :?

Well, if I remember to update my list as well as I remember to write in my diary each night, I should be ok until about mid March. From then on it might become a bit hit and miss. Still, as it's only for my own records it doesn't matter that much.

I pencil the month and year (eg 5/11) in the front of the book. I can then see at a glance when I last read it.

I've just started my 'What I've read in 2012' list on my laptop. Let's hope I remember to update it

I always wondered how often my fello fans re-read Blyton! I often feel guilty at how much I re-read, but I simply never seem to tire of some series and books. As a child I would read and re-read, and in my adult life I have done the rounds again several times over! My most consistently re-read books are the Adventure Series, the Barney Mysteries and the Find-Outers - all re-read many times in the last three years since I have been a member of this Society. I usually now read them in order and hate reaching the end of the series - only to start again a few months later! I always find something new I hadn't noticed before or just enjoy knowing what is coming. On a bad day, a re-read of a much loved book is the best tonic in the world. I know that when I am an old lady (much older than now, that is!) the children will be still forever young and will still give me enormous pleasure. Knowing the Barney/Adventure books so well helped enormously when writing my fan-fics of course, in bringing in the detail from the original books. Happy re-reading to everyone!

How true. The trouble is, my bedside table is beginning to resemble the LToP! I have so many new books to read - plus several on my Kindle - goodness only knows when I will re-read my next book!

Is this some kind of new quiz? First we had to guess what ADD stood for (I wouldn't have worked that out in a million years), now we've got LToP
