My local Oxfam Bookshop used to be excellent too, but then they changed premises and moved just across the road. The shop is much posher and the prices much steeper!

Looking back through this thread, all my bookshelf pics disappeared, due to me erasing them on facebook...so here are a few I just recently took of a selection of my best books. :-)

That's a great display Rob. I like the unusual design of the shelves as well as all the goodies on them!

Lovely Rob - with just one glaring omission!!

If it wasn't just a copy, then I might consider it! 8)

A great-looking collection in a great-looking bookcase! In the photo of the whole bookcase, the spine of the Dean & Son The Three Golliwogs really stands out - it's very attractive indeed. :D

I agree - one of the best ever spines on a 'Dean' book in my opinion! :-D

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

On the bookcase with Big Ears on it? They are 1970's omnibus editions - like these -

They contain 3 Famous Five stories each, illustrated by Betty Maxwell and colour stills from the 70's TV series. :-)

That just made me remember I have that book of the first picture of the Famous Five 1978. But I haven't seen it for 8 years  As a fact, I was introduced to the Famous Five through that book. So I have many happy memories of it!! :)
