Phew! We've come some distance from Mr Tumpy haven't we! No wonder we find peace of mind in re-reading our children's books. Life was so simple then. It's good to be able to escape back there from time to time.
'Tis loving and giving that makes life worth living.

Could not agree more, Daisy.

Thank goodness for the Enid Blyton Society Journal. Journalism at its best.

Much rather read Enid Blyton and the Enid Blyton Society Journal than
political comments and newspapers! Perhaps we can put Guardian comments
and comments about the Guardian to rest and get on with the important
things in life like 'Mr Tumpy's Caravan'.

Speaking of the Enid Blyton Society Journal, I've just spotted the contents for the next issue; a nice sprinkling of stories and stuff by Enid as well the continuing articles by Anita, Robert Houghton, David Cook and others, illustrations by Hilda Boswell and the Enid Boyten Letters. Looks like another belter of a Journal to look forward to.
