I have been sent a cutting from the Swanage and Wareham Advertiser, published on May 31st 2012, which has the sad news that Gordon James passed away on May 22nd 2012.

Very sad news regarding Gordon James I just hope he didn't suffer towards the end. RIP Lucas.

Yes. Very sad. Our sympathies go to Gordon's family. He will certainly be remembered when we re-read Five Have a Mystery to Solve.
