Yes, I whole-heartedly agree with Moose.
I always liked Banshee Towers better than the first two volumes of the FFO series.

Lucky Star wrote: My usual practice has been to read the book and then the reviews on both this site and Keith's site. It is always interesting to see what others have thought of what I've just read. Maybe one day I'll get around to contributing a couple of reviews myself.
I feel the same. Some of the EBS members have such a wonderful ability to write reviews and make observations that totally escape me (meaning I don't even notice those things)!
Where did they learn how to review books? At university?
I only went to high school which was almost 40 years ago, but I have no recollection of learning in German lessons HOW to review a book. :(
So please everybody, have patience with me.

Yes, I was wondering about that, too. Maybe Enid already started having memory loss when Banshee Towers was released and her editor didn't notice that this scene has been already used in "Vanished Prince"?

There was a 10 year gap between the books. If I had written a book 10 years ago, and many more since, I could easily forget a thing like that.
Having said that however, I guess Ern should have remembered: I thought he remembered everything his hero did! :)
