At least Chaucer's characters were on a pilgrimage, however I'd have thought there ought to be a memorial to him in Canterbury Cathedral rather than Westminster Abbey. Or maybe there is as well?
If there was a memorial to Enid, what form should it take? A bust or full size version of Enid herself, or perhaps the Famous Five?

Full size statue of Enid, seated with typewriter on her lap!

That would get my vote.

The Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens incorporates rabbits, fairies, etc. It would be great to have a statue of Enid which incorporates some of her characters - e.g. they could be emerging from the pages of a book on her knee.

Great suggestion, Anita.
That would certainly be a great statue and a fitting tribute to Enid.
