Noddy is real - The Doctor knows nothing! :D

Didn't Noddy come to an EB Day once?
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Shows how my mind played tricks! I thought I saw a photo of it...or perhaps it was just Noddy's voice that attended!

I have just checked to see which was the year that we first had a flowering Daisy at the EB Day and it was 2007. I am pretty sure that I attended that year, so I must have had a blind spot! On second thought perhaps I wasn't there!!

Oh you were definitely there Tony, although keeping your usual low profile I had to ask someone where you were before I could say 'hello'.

It hardly seems possible that nine years have passed (give or take a couple of weeks) since Ming was at the Enid Blyton Day!

It's May tomorrow, and if we were having an Enid Blyton Day our thoughts would be turning Twyfordwards!

I still associate the beginning of May with Twyford - it was always an enjoyable day out and I always bought far too many books! I still feel a bit of anticipation when May starts even these days! :-)

I was also at the Enid Blyton Day in Twyford in 2007. Oh, happy days! :D

It seems some forumites missed the call for the group photo! I didn't meet you Eddie until two years later and Rob I don't recall ever meeting.

I was only joking! :D I am one of only four people who attended all 18 Enid Blyton Days, obviously Norman Wright is another, but the other two aren't quite as obvious - although one is a registered member of these forums who has never actually posted, and the other has never belonged to the Society!

Just adding to the statistics, 627 people attended Enid Blyton Days, some only once and others multiple times.

I didn't even know that photo was being taken so I wasn't deliberately avoiding it - for once! :D

The nice thing is that nine years on from that 11 out of the 15 were still subscribers for Journal 59.
