The Enid Blyton Society

An idea has just struck me, now its not well thought out or anything (and may already have been thought of/done/discusses), but wouldn't it be quite cool if the Doctor Travelled back in time to meet Enid? In the same vein of the Agatha Christie episode a few years ago.

Done right, it could be a very enjoyable episode.

The Daleks could exterminate Noddy.

Maybe the cybermen upgrade the Famous Five?

Where would you have the Tardis land? Green Hedges or Old Thatch? Wouldn't look out of place in Bourne End even today if you ask me!!

I keep imagining the Tardis landing on Kirrin Island and George rowing furiously across to the island muttering, "How dare the police put a box on MY island without asking permission!"

And K9 could 'zap' Timmy!

Going by the episode Doomsday, I still think the Daleks have the best response to "human rights" campaigners:

Hippie: "You didn't need to kill him!"

Dalek: "Neither did we need him alive!"

The daleks didn't say that, Paul, the scriptwriter did!! They're not real.

Have you noticed that all their aggressive commands have one thing in common.
Exterminate!, liquidate!, eradicate!, annihilate!, eliminate!, obliterate! - must be something they ate.

Sounds like the premise for an essay or documentary on Gary Russell's post-FAMOUS FIVE career.

And then there was a Doctor Who themed birthday card I saw a couple of years ago, with audio - when you opened it, it played a Dalek voice: "IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY! CELEBRATIONS HAVE BEEN AUTHORISED! CELEBRATE! CELEBRATE!"

(I considered sending it to my dad, who's quite a fan, but I was worried it might frighten our dog.)

I could imagine that too... but which Doctor would step out to greet George? I can imagine a Jon Pertwee stepping out and greeting her with a "Hello my Dear! Would you be so kind as to tell me where I am? I seem to have gone ever so slightly off course....." I think that would stop George dead in her tracks.....!! And then a Sea Devil lumbers slowly into view behind them...............
