Fine with me, but as I just said that I agree with Nigel then it won't be much of a quote.

Well I finally got around to watching this, this weekend and must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. :D
I loved the way they over emphasised the original characters, with flashbacks, allowing them to exaggerate their future shortcomings, with tongue firmly in cheek.
I got a little emotional towards the end, when (*SPOILER ALERT*) they showed what we all know, that she is still loved, especially by children. Very nice touch by the producers/writers, showing a love and respect for our great lady.

There's a chance to catch ...Rehab and ...Go Mad in Dorset, tonight, on Gold at 9pm.

Does anyone know if you can get Gold on Freeview?

No, sorry, Anita. Gold is only available with Sky. Channel 110. We have freeview at the caravan and it's not one of the options.

Okay - thanks, Julie. I don't watch much TV so I never know which channels we can get on Freeview.

This should help, although not all channels are available in some (usually remote) areas. Alternatively, look at your tv EPG. :D

Thanks, Zar Quon and Nigel! I'll watch the programme on YouTube when I've got more time.

I am the exactly the same. In fact my TV has not been switched on for about a month now. I simply prefer either reading, surfing the net or listening to music.

I don't very often watch live TV, apart from the news. On the odd occasion when I sit down with a spare few minutes I browse the list of free channels and find there's nothing I want to watch. Programmes that I might be interested in, such as Terry and June which is being broadcast daily at the moment, are usually on at inconvenient times. I did catch part of an interesting documentary the other week about the building of a skyscraper in London, but we had company half way through, so the TV went off.

I did watch the Antiques Roadshow on I-player the other day - the bit with the Enid Blyton letters, which was good. I rely on fellow Forumites to keep me informed of any interesting programmes I might want to see.

That's why they invented these

With the added advantage of being able to fast-forward thru the tedious adverts :)

Ha ha, yes, I know, we do have one, I just didn't think to set it going. Also, as it takes a while to put it on the right channel etc., it might have looked a bit rude to say to the visitor 'hang on a minute, while I record the programme you interrupted'
