I saw it, I was very excited when I saw the question and shocked that they didn't know one, let alone one that was pointless! But then neither did the people asked - there were loads of pointless ones - Five Go Down to Sea, Five Have Plenty of Fun, Five Get into Trouble and Five Have a Mystery to Solve were ones I got that were pointless, but there were more. I picked those as some of them are quite vague - 'plenty of fun' etc. But lots more were pointless. It made me wonder how many people are reading Blyton nowadays :-(
Interesting that this episode used the same question as the one in 2012.

I think last week's episode was a repeat of the one shown in 2012, Leanne.

There was a question featuring Enid Blyton on Pointless the other day. Contestants had to identify notable people from their pictures, but did anyone recognise Enid Blyton?

The episode is available on iplayer for 25 more days and the segment starts at around 02:25:

I saw it and of course recognised her at once - I think someone got it wrong ( I can't remember who they suggested it was, now) and it was a very low score when we heard how many had actually named her correctly.

I think someone suggested that the photo of Enid Blyton was a photo of Dame Flora Robson. If any of the contestants had identified Enid Blyton correctly they'd have scored four points, so you're right that it was a very low score, Daisy.
