Yes, it does rather! :D

Pre-order made. Just a shame we have to wait until December for it! :( But I'm sure it will be well worth it! :)
Best Regards

I always wondered when you'd use your professional skills to give us some insights about the filming of the 78s series, Gary. Great that you found the time. :)
Pre-order will go out as soon as my PayPal account is fully set up.
Is it really a coincidence that the book is to come out shortly before Christmas? It'll give me some reading matter through the Christmas hols.
Cheers

The best blatant plug ever?

Can't wait.

Edited to add;

I've not used paypal at all before. Is it a reliable secure site?

Hi Nick.

I've used paypal many times and find it very safe.

One copy of Spies, Smugglers and Spook Trains duly ordered, the eleven month wait will be absolute agony though! :D

Nick, I have used Paypal for a number of years with no problems at all. Alternatively, you can make payment to Hirst Books directly with a credit or debit card.

Any plug which doesn't include the word Anecdotage is fine by me

Oh Fiona, you've just stolen my thunder! Looks to be a great book, Gary, definitely one to order and savour. Just pre-ordered mine; thanks to PayPal, easily done with a few clicks!

Maybe a better title would be: The 1970s Classic Famous Five Television Series - A Personal Anecdotage.

Sorry Nigel, just couldn't resist that one.

Edit: Oh dear! I hit 'order now' just to see what the postage costs were like, and the page it took me to was to buy a copy of 'All Aliens Like Burgers'. I hope everyone that's bought a copy checked carefully what they were buying..... othewise they might be in for a nasty shock.

Edited edit: I see now you have to scroll down to reach Gary's book.

Yes, the joys of PayPal - I have just ordered my copy, three or four clicks and you are there!

What a pity it won't be available on the Enid Blyton Day, Gary, you would surely have sold quite a few copies. It might be worth your while collecting a few cheques (and addresses!) from the people who don't bother with the website and the internet.

I was also thinking along the Personal Anecdotage line, Nigel and Fiona, but I didn't do so as I thought Gary would wonder what we were talking about!
