She said on Twitter that she was going to record voice-over commentaries today! 8)
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

So another Collector's Edition waiting to be picked up. :D I have been waiting for it for a long time, as I prefer the all-English version of the episodes. The German translation is usually quite good, but there are slightly irritating points time and again. Julian would never call his little sister Anne a "feige Pute" which could be translated as "yellow chicken" or lily-livered chicken. But so he does in "Five go off to camp".

Cheers

And with yet another sarcastic, obnoxious and rude comment from Nigel about a book he's already had his money back for, I'm outta here.

It used to be a fun forum, people.

It's no longer for me. A shame. love Enid, love FF, love most of you.

So thanks for the usually warm welcomes in the past, but I'll leave you to it now.

Yes, it is a shame when we lose our sense of humour. I am sorry my comment has made you run, Gary. I still wish you well in all you do, in spite of me being an obvious source of irritation to you. :(

Yes as you've all seen now, our Famous Five DVD, should be out in October. Marcus Harris, Gary Russell, Jennifer Thanisch and I had a marvellous day filming a special featurette for it; talking about our series. We've also recorded commentaries for three episodes and I don't know when I've had so much fun. I'll let you know more as and when I do. All I know is after all these years, we're still glad to be together and proud of our series!

That sounds fantastic, Gail. :D I'm delighted that Marcus Harris, Gary Russell and Jennifer Thanisch were all involved too. A real treat for Famous Five fans to enjoy as nights draw in in the autumn!

So who is releasing this marvellous box set and, if it's coming out in october, when is it going to appear on Amazon and other websites? I want to get my pre-order in! :)

I'm sorry Gary has left. Maybe if we threw Nigel out, he'd come back?
