Wonderful photos, Nigel. They have whetted my appetite for a visit to Exbury. :D

Chick and I drove over the top of the Long Mynd today and thought of the Long Pine Five while doing so. :D
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

What lovely pictures Nigel. We really would need good weather to appreciate the place at its best.

Those are marvelous photos Julie and Nigel. I wasn't on the train and not that deep into Exbury Gardens to see Beaulieu River but there must have been the campsite of "Five go to Billycock Hill".

As for the meeting, great idea, but I'm from Luxembourg and probably go again beginning of July when the Tour Bus is running (unless I rent a car). But I put May into my calendar, you never know...:)

Fantastic pics Nigel thank you.
Although with your permission,I imagined our Enid Blyton visit to Exbury might not thrill everyone..

I'm so glad its not just me who isn't on Facebook, I was beginning to feel like some sort of outcast prehistoric specimen! :)
It annoys me when people just take it for granted that you're on fb, as if its just a normal thing that everyone does, like having a shower or making a cuppa!
Someone was talking to me about work the other week and said "send me a link to your fb page" - just completely taking for granted that I had one - and then when I said "I don't use fb" their look of incredulity was similar to as if I had said I wanted to bite their leg off or something!!

Hurrah! A fellow FB outcast! I suppose it has it's good points, ie staying in contact with family far & wide, or loved ones, etc. It's the annoying naff stuff that makes me stay away. My brother shown me some of the many lame posts on his FB "wall". One of my favourite random posts was "just sitting on the settee eating chocolate biscuits"! Wow! Hold the front page..this is riveting stuff! Seriously, though, it's each to their own. :D

It's a good thing we don't succumb to such trite remarks on our "What are you doing now?" thread!
