Actually, all that happened was that journalists from several newspapers browsed the Forums to see what members of the Society had said on the matter! A few of our comments were included in various articles but, since I don't use a pseudonym, a number of newspapers quoted me.

Actually Anita, Channel 9 is one of our television stations. So it would have been a television reporter who quoted you.

Not Quite Disney, but something from the Gardian (Don't know how old it is) on the Channel four (hopeful) new Famous Five as Middle age.

Is this series currently airing on Disney? Here it isn't, and I've never watched it. Of course, I'm outside the age audience, i.e., 7-11, but still, to me it sounds horrible. Extremely horrible. But then, I am not a fan of animated shows, and it pains me that the great Famous Five books (the first time I've used that word with that - "great"!) are updated to such cartoons. At least get the time zone right: was George 50/60 when she married?

I don't have the Disney Channel and I'm not sure which other channels have aired "Famous Five On the Case" in Britain, but we saw an episode at the last Enid Blyton Day and it was somewhat like
Scooby Doo - only not as good!

And Philip- if you don't like animations- you certainly won't like this. My I suggest you type it into youtube- a few episodes have found there way up there.

I used to watch Scooby Doo when I was younger, and I loved it at a time, but gradually found it boring -- they repeated shows; and the plots were basically same. Now I no longer watch it.
If this is worse than Scooby Doo, I dread to think what it actually is! Just got a result when typed what you said, Pippa-Stef, thanks for the suggestion. Let's see what it is. *starts seeing*
