But in the end, the four of you stuck it all during two summers of production.

Even in spite of your cow phobia and that T-shirt, and Michelle's growing hay fever.

We had better clothes in S2. Well i did anyway. And a funky 70s jacket with go-faster stripes on the sleeve. Go me, yaaaay!

Michelle and I both suffered badly from hayfever. I just had pills that worked!

And also in Series/Season2, Jennifer/Anne got her distinctive lighter blue jacket that finally set her apart from Michelle/George's....!

I like also how Michelle's hay fever (and the pills for it) got worked into Series/Season2. Lightly touched upon (respectfully, of course) in four episodes. I suppose doing it that way was less expensive and less time-consuming than having to audition for a replacement actress....?

Not sure why you think the idea of replacing Michelle would have even crossed anyone's mind. It's only hayfever, not the bubonic plague.

Enjoyed reading a lot of this Thread, yesterday, and definitely a Thread, which I will return to (a lot of interesting info on this Thread), yesterday, I received a copy of Enid Blyton's Famous Five Go to Smuggler's Top Annual (1979), which I bought on eBay, the Annual was in excellent condition.

Can anyone please let me know, how many Books, were published, that featured the cast of the 1970's TV version of The Famous Five, on the front cover.

I have got a lot of issues of TV Times, on DVD ROMs, including many issues from the late 1970's, that feature TV listings/and features, for the 1970's TV version of The Famous Five.

There's the full set of 21, plus I think 4 or 5 annuals, two bumper books, 6 large books, 2 large 3 in one books.... I'll have to dig them all out :) My facebook 78 series page has most if not all on there :)

Just being thankful that it *was* only hayfever. That's all I'm saying. :)

Now there's a FF "TV book" fan! [BTW, long time no post!] I'd be lucky to have gotten only half of what you yourself have collected. 8)

Thus far, I only need one (or two?) original book(s) and one more TV Annual. Perhaps we can compare....

Yes, my apologies, I put a post in Introducing when I slunk back.

I would be happy to compare :)

Tonight, I won the following item (The Famous Five Adventures Card Game, from 1978), on eBay.

Image

On eBay, it stated that the above item contained a full set of the Cards and rules, and it also stated that the Cards and Box, were in mint condition.

Well done, Billy. I did have a set, but sadly since I bought it back in the 70's I can no longer find it.

Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
"See that? It's the black Bentley again. KMF 102!"
