The Enid Blyton Society

Can anyone out there verify this.When I was about 7 or 8 I was given a large book containing an Enid Blyton
Adventure Story rather similar to Secret Seven Adventure as I recall.My vague recollection is that the stolen item
was an extremely valuable orchid.Naturally the children concerned solved the mystery and I seem to recall that
the lions in the visiting circus had something to do with it.Any information about this story?

Personally I don't really know which story this is, though I'm sure someone will help you out. However, we have different categories on the forums where you can create topics. We can find threads more easily if they are specifically categorised. I rather think this thread should have been made in the Book/Story Search section, as then it will be easier to find this thread and help you out.

Would you believe my query was answered by the current volume of the journal(No 59) The short story was titled "An Unexpected Adventure" written in 1948 by Enid Blyton for The Childrens Wonder Book in Colour--Number 2 I am certain that it provided Enid with the inspiration for Secret Seven Adventure.Journal No 59 reprinted the story in full.
