With that said, allow me to provide the next quote. Who said it, what episode, and why?
“Well! Nice to see we’re all friends again.”

Nope.

Here's a worthy hint:

None of the Five said my quote. It was said by someone related to one of the Five's friends...... and that friend's name is Tinker Hayling.

It still doesn't ring a bell, so I'll have a guess. Professor Hayling in Five Are Together Again?

Yes, it's Five are Together Again, but no, it's not Professor Hayling.

And neither is it Tinker.

One more person there in the Hayling household at Big Hollow....

Correct! [ Plus a bonus point if you can mention why she said it. But in the meantime.... ]

Your turn, Anita.

Thanks, Daanton. I'm afraid I still don't remember it and would never have got it without your generous clues!

Next one:

"And, more important, all that excitement which is more than life itself to me - all that will be gone too."

I'm still consulting my video sources, but I thought I'd take a guess:

Mr Barling, in "Five Go To Smuggler's Top", to his kidnapped victims, Quentin Kirrin and Sotty Lenoir, while telling him what would happen if Quentin's swamp-draining project ever went ahead (and why he resorted to kidnapping them)?

Yes, Mr. Barling it is! Over to you, Daanton.

Geez, that was a lucky guess on my part. Image

As for the previous question with Jenny, the Hayling's maid/housekeeper:

You may recall: J,D,A&G were getting concerned about their friend Tinker talking a fair bit about his father's work, especially to Mister Wooh! But afterwards, at their campsite, Tinker got into a bit of a row with them as he didn't think there was anything wrong about talking his father's work, as he probably was proud of him, and he felt J,D,A&G were getting a mite too leery about Mister Wooh, always being too suspicious, just because he's different. And Tinker's row ended with him (Mischief in arm) walking off in disgust.

But then came Charlie the Chimpanzee's nightly stalk that woke up the Haylings!

So perhaps Tinker might've overspoke. And overreacted. Especially since it seemed to him that J,D,A&G weren't speaking to him that morning at breakfast:
[As the others continue to eat their breakfast—Anne gets up, gets the teapot off the counter and starts pouring herself some tea—Tinker looks urgingly at the others and wonders why no one’s talking to him.
TINKER: “.... Well, somebody say something.”
[Julian would offer a peaceful prompt.
JULIAN: “Why didn’t you come to our tent last night and wake us up after you took Charlie back?”
[Pause. During which Anne replaces the teapot.
TINKER (softly): “Well... I thought you didn’t want to know... after I had lost my temper.”
[Julian offers his right hand...
JULIAN (welcoming): “No hard feelings.”
[And with Julian and Tinker ‘giving each other five’, all would now be forgiven. Or at the very least, J,D,A,G & Tinker can talk among themselves again—especially about the tower break-in:

ANNE (resuming her seat): “I don’t understand how Charlie got out, though.”
DICK: “Neither do I.”
TINKER: “Gave me a fright, I can tell you. Really thought it was [just as Julian about to bite into his slice of toast] someone trying to steal Father’s papers.”
GEORGE: “That’ll teach you to not to go [having taken his bite, Julian looks at George] blabbing about your father’s work in future.”
ANNE: “Especially since it’s secret.”
TINKER (insistent): “I wasn’t talking about his work. I was only—”
GEORGE: “Boasting, as usual.”
JULIAN (calmly): “Leave off, you two!”
TINKER: “George keeps going on about it!” [lightly pounds the table with his hand]
[Jenny the maid re-enters the dining room, carrying a pitcher of milk...
:!: JENNY: “Well! Nice to see we’re all friends again.”
[Almost rubbing it in, eh? The others soon softly smile/chuckle to each other in thankful agreement! Oh well...

Alright, new quote to guess:
"What's it feel like in there??"

Thanks for the reminder of the scene with Jenny, Daanton!

I think "What's it feel like in there?" might be Anne talking to Julian and Dick in Five Go Down to the Sea, when the boys are in the costume of Clopper the horse.

My pleasure, Anita. Thank goodness for YouTube uploads if not for the actual DVD set....!

And you are correct! In my opinion, possibly one of my fave funniest scenes of possibly the entire series. Who knew trying to operate a pantomime horse from the inside could be so complicated? And quite hilarious! As they were trying their best to prop the costumed boys back up onto their feet, George and Anne seemed to find quite a bit of hilarity about it; certainly Anne did! [Or was it Jennifer herself??]
:!: ANNE: "What's it feel like in there??"
DICK (getting annoyed): "Very hot!"
[The girls chuckle some more...
JULIAN: "I'll say! Can you help us get out? The zip is stuck...!"
And while George tries her best to help Julian, a chuckling Anne [or Jennifer herself??] couldn't resist climbing onto Dick's side of the pantomime horse for a ride! Dick would soon oblige her...... by standing up and dropping Anne off his "back" onto a haybale seat!

Of course George & Anne would very quickly see the seriousness of the boys' situation when they all hear someone coming ["Quick! The Guv's coming!"] and quickly the boys, pulled by George and pushed by Anne, are herded outside of the make-shift theatre in the Penruthlans' barn/shed.

Your turn, Anita.
