Correct, Snugglepot. :D

Your turn.
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

Thanks Eddie.

In "Spiteful Letters", after Gladys takes the letters from Goon and gives them to Fatty to read, how does Fatty get them back to Goon?

Didn't a disguised Fatty simply hand those anonymous letters back to PC Goon in the street, saying that he thought that they may have dropped out of Goon's pocket?

That is correct, Aurelien.
Fatty wore his telegraph boy outfit when he bumped into Goon and pretended that Goon had dropped the packet of letters.

Your turn.

Thank you, Snugglepot. :D

Of course, I had forgotten the actual details of Fatty's disguise, and also about that collision with Goon that he engineered, probably in order to make it seem more likely that those anonymous letters had dropped out of the PC's pocket.

In 'TMOT Missing Necklace' what was the clue of the well-kept nails?

Aha - when Fatty was disguised as the balloon woman and had dirtied his hands but inadvertently left his nails perfectly clean, so Bets twigged at once that there was something strange about the woman and quickly recognised "her" as Fatty! :D

Thanks, Aurélien.

Next... provide the rhyming line to this excerpt from a certain famous "pome" that Ern was led to believe he'd written in his sleep:

Thy temper is so sweet and mild

It has been over a month, wow!

I am not sure but I think the line is something like,

"That would not frighten the littlest child"

Ooooooh... quite close, Snugglepot, but not exactly right (and not quite as amusing as the real wording).

Now that the game's revived, can someone give the exact line...? :D

More like "T'would frighten e'en the smallest child", perhaps?

Spot on, Daisy! :D This is, of course, in reference to Ern's "Uncle dear" — and there's big trouble when Goon himself reads the "pome"...

Would that be Mrs. Peeks, the mother of Horace Peeks? (If her first name was ever mentioned I can't bring it to mind.)
