Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Enid!!!
No, the "real" answer (as opposed to the real real answer), in the context of the Find-Outers series: Fatty's aunt, as he tells us in The Mystery of the Disappearing Cat.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Correct, Courtenay. It was Fatty's aunt.

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Yes, I remember having a laugh when I saw that reference in Disappearing Cat (which I read for the first time only a couple of years ago) and thinking "I didn't know Fatty was Enid's nephew!!"
Right, here's a challenge... How many of the Find-Outers books feature Ern Goon?
(Non-compulsory bonus question for FFO fanatics: can you name those books as well? )

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Ern was in 5 of the books, as you rightly say, Aurélien.
They were: Hidden House; Vanished Prince; Tally-Ho Cottage; Strange Messages; Banshee Towers.

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Ooer, Aurélien's answer wasn't absolutely incorrect, but I was looking for the exact number, and the exact number is 5, not "at least" 5... so I'm afraid I'm going to have to give this one to Eddie, especially as he's named the books to confirm it. My apologies, Aurélien, and well done to both you and Eddie.
Eddie, over to you!

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Thank you, Courtenay. I would have been quite happy for Aurélien to have set the next question.
Anyway here is a nice easy one:
In which book does PC Pippin appear?

...fourth-rate actors, who haven't had any film-work to do for some time.
Mrs Trotteville told Fatty that the Lorenzos were badly behaved, gave silly parties, went out in boats at all hours of the night and failed to pay their bills.
