Wild guess time:

"Give Bill my love and tell him if he leads Bob into anything, I'll never, never forgive him!"

Oooh... almost, but not quite. :mrgreen: In the meantime, here are Eddie's Gs:

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Is it "you" rather than Dave's idea of it being a name? It sounds like Allie's warning as she leaves the children on the Ship and Bill is coming out in her place.

It is indeed, Daisy — and that's where it's from, too. :D

Well done to both you and Dave — I'll leave it to the two of you to decide who goes next... :wink:

Hmmmm, I'm not sure it should have gone to me. It merely encourages people not to have a guess.

However, here's the next one.

"+++++!” / ++++++ / +++ / +++++++ / ++ / +++ / +++ / ++ / +++ / +++++

Why would that encourage people not to have a guess? I should think it shows that guessing is worthwhile, if you've got a good idea of what it might be. :)

Can we start with A, please?

It's just that not many people seem to dare to have a guess. It's different in the original game, where you are racing against completion of the scaffold and le pendu scene.

Here's three As for you.

"+++++!” / +A++++ / +++ / +++++A+ / A+ / +++ / +++ / ++ / +++ / +++++

We could always introduce the scaffold, if only there was a way of drawing it in here... :twisted: :wink:

Let's have an E now, please.

We wouldn't need to draw a scaffold. as we could just put "Guesses left - 10" and reduce the number accordingly. But I don't think it would help - it would just make people even less inclined to guess.

Four x E for you.

"+++++!” / +A++E+ / ++E / +++++A+ / A+ / ++E / +++ / ++ / +++ / ++++E
