Hi Samonia - good to see another Adventure Series fan here!

As Anita says, the rule for this and most of the other quizzes on this site is that whoever first answers the question correctly is the one who posts the next question. It'd be lovely to have more people join in with this quiz, so I'm glad you're here! :D

- in a secret pocket in Jacks Shorts
- behind the fan?

Can you give a clue?
Dinah, that's two and a half right (one was behind a drawer, yes, but not in a bathroom). Ideally I'd like the correct responder to name each of the hiding places and which of the children chose them!

Here's a clue - the answers are all in one chapter of the book. Illogically enough, it's not the chapter called "Hiding-Places", but the one before it! (At least in my copy. I'm wondering if the chapter names got scrambled in the editing process somehow.)

Ok, here we go again:

Philip : Shows it to Mr. Eppy, but his place would be between the dressing table and the wall
Jack : in his shorts
Dinah : behind the panel near the fan
Lucy-Ann: behind the drawer in the dressing table

Right, here we go:

From whose radio skit did Kiki learn to do her "marvellous imitation" of a police whistle?

I only remember at the moment that it is in "River". Can you give a tip? I mean is it a "real" name or just one invented by Enid?

It's definitely in River. I don't know for sure whether the person in question was real or not (looking online hasn't helped), but Enid does have one of the children drop the name as if it's one that many readers in the 1950s would have known.

Unfortunately I can't give you a better hint than that without giving it away!

It is the radio at the Mannering's house, where there is some show going on in which there is a police whiste, which Kiki copies.
