That's probably correct. Philip had picked up a telephone receiver, attached to the wireless, and was immediately in touch with Y2. When Bill returned he wasn't very pleased that Philip had touched his wireless equipment. He spoke to Y2, telling him that it was L4 speaking. Don't recall Y2 being mentioned again. So yes, Y2 was probably Bill's boss or one of his associates.
