I have finished this book and I was wondering if any of you have read it. After jumping from classics to thrillers to children's books, this was just the book I needed. I think it's a great novel, let alone a real page turner. First, when I started reading, I didn't realise the book was set in modern times 2015, due to the descriptions, I thought she was talking about the 70's where black people were very discriminated and had no real rights. As it seems, nothing of this has really changed today in the world. It shocked me a lot to read how society is still organised in the USA. The good thing about the story is that it has a happy ending, which gives me hope that things are actually gonna change.
If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it, because you won't regret it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed it and now I'm very depressed to know I have finished it.

But, yeah, it's simply amazing :D

I haven't read it, but the blurb sounds interesting. Is it mainly a courtroom drama?
