I wondered are there any members on this forum, who have read some of Leon Garfield's Books, the 1980's BBC TV version of The December Rose, is one of my favourite children's Drama serials, I have got a copy of the edited version of The December Rose, on a DVD-R disc, I have also enjoyed watching the 1970's BBC TV version of Smith, on DVD - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Smith-Complete ... ords=smith" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Lots of images, from The December Rose, on the following site - http://www.thechestnut.com/december.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Hopefully one day, the 1982 version of The Ghost Downstairs, will turn up.
Has anyone, seen the following film - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078870/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Leon Garfield
I don't remember The December Rose but I do recall watching The Strange Affair of Adelaide Harris as a child - and reading the book. I also read Smith. Although I enjoyed both books, I haven't re-read them as an adult.
