'Rendezvous with Rama' is one of my favourite books of all time, although I couldn't really get into the sequels. I'm also very fond of 2001, 2010, 2061 and 3001.

'World of Strange Powers' was one of the scariest things I ever saw as a child. The one with the ghost photographs had me unable to sleep at night, with the recently deceased woman sitting in the back of a car behind her son-in-law being the worst offender!
